Excitement is building among Catholics in anticipation of Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S. in Pennsylvania this month. Among other things, he’ll be visiting President Obama at the White House, addressing a joint session of the U.S. Congress, addressing the U.N. General Assembly, holding an interfaith service at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, saying a Mass for church leaders at the Cathedral in Philadelphia, attending the World Meeting of Families, visiting Philadelphia’s largest prison and saying a Mass, open to…..
Wow! How blessed I am to have witnessed the strength, love and courage by not only the speakers at the 2015 SNAP Conference, but also those who attended. We met many victims who are at different stages of recovery.

I received no information at all.
When I spoke with the church official, he told me that this was not my problem to worry about, and the Church would take care of everything. As time passed, decade-by-decade, I continued to question Church officials…..
Carol Kuhnert always trusted priests completely. As a child growing up in a strict Catholic family, clergy stood on pedestals next to God in her eyes. When her brother, Norman, expressed a desire to become a priest and entered the seminary after eighth grade, Carol had no idea that one day, her daughter would reveal a shocking secret: Norman was a serial pedophile.
